Full Auto Mod Destiny 2

Cheers Bungie for Total Auto Retrofit! (And, thank you in advance, for the better version of this accessibility characteristic that you've promised will come in a future patch.)

This weekend, I went to do Chamber of Starlight, armed with Arbalest, an anti-Unstoppable BxR-55 Battler pulse burglarize, and an anti-Overload Falling Guillotine. I sure do love these item weapons!

Unfortunately, after a while, my hands started to injure badly due to carpal tunnel syndrome and having to pull the trigger on the pulse rifle repeatedly. Killing an Unstoppable Champion with a pulse rifle can be roughshod on 1'due south fingers! No worries, though: Bungie is now looking out for usa! I slapped a Full Auto Retrofit modern onto my trusty BxR-55, and then I was able to complete the lost sector a few more times without pain, until I was finally dropped my shiny exotic advantage.

Bungie's delivery to accessibility here immune me–and I am sure many players with similar bug–to complete a fun and challenging activeness in Destiny!

I've also talked to a slew of other Destiny players who are as thankful equally I am for this new feature. Many of these players suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, RSI, and/or arthritis. Or some simply have hands that hurt from pulling the trigger in Destiny as well much. Many other FPS games focus mostly on fully automatic weapons (plus some snipers), but Destiny has ever had a plethora of highly useful semi-automated weapons. Many other players have told me that they are grateful to Bungie for the awesome QoL improvement to Destiny that Total Auto Retrofit provides.

At that place is a rather invisible simply large chorus of voices who would similar to limited their appreciation to Bungie for continuing to make Destiny true to its vision of enabling players of all ages and abilities, from all over the world to play together in a "
Shared World Shooter Destiny s - Full Auto Retrofit makes Destiny a better game and truer to its vision of a

Shared World Shooter". A world that is shared by players of differing abilities, ages, cultures, locations, wellness issues, etc. A world in which virtually everyone , all effectually the earth, is welcome to join in on a shared story, environment, and experience!

Even Destiny's sometimes maligned netcode was implemented to raise this vision. With Destiny's netcode, no thing how far away you are from a server, you will never feel your own Guardian'southward trunk beingness stuck or crippled. Even if your enemies gain magical powers of teleportation due to lag, your own body'south movement and powers remain intact. This promise cannot be made with a more traditional netcode stack based on a "defended server". As well, you can play Destiny in a fireteam with players from all around the world. In fact, I have completed Destiny raids with Australian players on many occasions. Yous can't get much farther away on planet Earth than that! Over again, this would not work well with a traditional netcode stack.

Yes, at that place is a cost to doing things the way that Bungie has envisioned, but Bungie's vision would non be possible without incurring this cost. Bungie has always had a vision of Destiny beingness inclusive and spanning the world with a shared world , where everyone is welcome, and encouraged to cooperate, no matter how far autonomously they are, both physically and metaphorically.

(For PvP, objections to this netcode cost take merit. I understand that many people would justifiably similar in that location to be a dedicated server model for PvP. I believe that Bungie should consider this as an opt-in feature for those who like to focus on Destiny's PvP. Sadly, I think it unlikely that this will ever happen, only we tin can hope and dream that Bungie someday addresses this outcome too.)

Bungie has heard the pleas of those who suffer from hand injuries and I've heard from many such players that their hands are feeling better already! A player shouldn't take to choose between their health and enjoying the wonderful cooperative earth of Destiny, when there are relatively simple workarounds. Workarounds such as Total Auto Retrofit, and other promised improvements to come.

Thank you , Bungie for concretely demonstrating that you care about the health and QoL of all members of your loyal "shared world" community!
